About the Role

We’re looking for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with full Paediatric First Aid certification to join a warm, supportive primary setting. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who brings calm energy, strong classroom presence, and a child‑centred approach from EYFS through to KS2.

The ideal candidate is confident supporting whole‑class learning, small‑group interventions and 1:1 pupils — especially those who benefit from a nurturing, consistent adult.

What This TA Brings

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Paediatric First Aid certified
  • Experience across Nursery–KS2
  • Strong behaviour awareness and a steady, reassuring approach
  • Excellent communication with staff, pupils and families
  • A proactive, hands‑on attitude and willingness to get stuck in
  • Reliability, consistency and a genuine passion for helping children thrive

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Delivering small‑group and 1:1 interventions
  • Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
  • Creating a positive, safe and engaging classroom environment
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider team
  • Using PFA knowledge to maintain high standards of safety and care
