KS2 Teaching Assistant 

Full Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm Start: ASAP

A welcoming primary school in Kings Heath, Birmingham is looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full‑time role involves supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, helping to deliver engaging learning experiences and providing targeted support to ensure every child can succeed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and keen to build long‑term experience in a supportive school environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support teaching and learning across KS2
  • Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce learning
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparation and classroom organisation
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting (essential)
  • A Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification is preferred but not essential
  • A proactive, positive and reliable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
