We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a school in Birmingham which caters for children from early years right through till post 16. This school specialised in its own curriculum teaching about real life experiences and getting children prepared for adulthood along with splitting the curriculum to meet the needs of all their students. This school caters for primarily PLDM students so experience within PLMD and SEND would be ideal.
The ideal candidate will need to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 15:30PM and be able to work on one-to-one basis and within small groups. Due to the age groups that this school caters for, you must be flexible to work across all age groups.
This school has an outstanding purpose, in school-built facilities, highly trained staff and an in-school nursing team specialising in several different qualifications to meet each child’s needs. All children have EHCP plans in place as a guidance to meet their needs and this school has been recognised as ‘Outstanding’ in its last 6 Ofsted reports.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with PLMD.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
