Teacher of Music

Zest Education are looking to recruit a Music teacher in a full time position from April 2024 at a school in the Tamworth area for at least one full term.

Centrally located, the school is easily accessible by public transport but also offers on-site parking for those that choose to drive. Ideally the chosen candidate will be reliable and enthusiastic with the desire to help students in their musical endeavours.

The ideal candidate will be passionate to engage, lead and inspire students. The school is improving within academic and attainment levels and is continually looking to ensure their students develop into respectable and inspiring individuals.

The successful candidate will have:

• A PGCE or an equivalent UK teaching qualification having been awarded a QTS or QTLS
• A great passion for teaching Music and quality subject knowledge across all secondary key stages.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
• A creative mindset with the ability to adapt lessons as and when needed

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
