Zest Education needs you! We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic learning support assistant for a school located in Birmingham. This school caters for 229 students aged from two to twenty-five and have a range of complex needs such as learning difficulties, sensory impairments and complex medical needs. This school has received “Outstanding” in its last 6 Ofsted reports and has a specialised curriculum tailored to each student including an emphasis on preparing for adulthood and learning about real life experiences.
The ideal candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 15:30PM supporting the teacher of the class and have experience in SEND and classroom environments. This role will require you to work on a one-to-one basis with students and in small groups and as this school caters for several different age groups, the ideal candidate must be flexible across all age groups.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with PLMD.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
