Learning Support Assistant.
Zest Education are working exclusively with a popular special education college in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role is for an immediate start and would be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30, there is a possibility that the role could become permanent if the right candidate is found.
This college caters for students from the age of 16-25 with a range of learning disabilities including Autism (ASC), down syndrome, social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, communication and other health related mental or physical difficulties.
Each of the students here work on a completely individual programme which is specifically structured to support them into employment and to gain an increased level of independence as they prepare for adulthood. You will be required to support the students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups so must be confident working with a range of ages and needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
