Do you have a passion for education? Do you have recent SEND experience? Then we have the role for you! We are exclusively working with a SEND school located in Birmingham. This school caters for students ages 2-25 whom have a diagnosis of PMLD. This school has several different facilities for their students to access their learning and provides a ‘Get Real’ curriculum to support their learning for day-to-day life experiences. Highly trained and enthusiastic staff are present in this school and work immensely hard to provide the best education to their students and promote enjoyment in their learning.
This is a full-time learning support assistant role supporting alongside the teacher and other learning support assistants. You will be required to work on a one-to-one basis and within small groups of students and due to the age range, you must be flexible across all ages.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with PLMD.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
