Teaching Assistant
Zest Education is proud to be working with a reputable SEND school in Cannock. This school requires a Teaching assistant to work on a full-time basis from March 2023. The role will last the full academic year and possibly, the candidate will be taken on permanently if the school see fit.
The school caters for children from the ages of eleven to eighteen. Many of the students have been excluded from mainstream school or pupil referral units due to challenging behaviours or criminal activities and because the school is unable to meet the pupil’s educational needs. This school identifies ways in which they can work with each student to identify and reach their potential.
You will be working with small class sizes and with a high number of support staff, as it is important that every student receives a personalised learning experience. The successful candidate will be resilient; show initiative and have the potential to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
