We are looking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic classroom support assistant keen to explore schools within their local area. This school caters for 229 children ages two to twenty-five with a range of complex needs. This learning environment aims to be the best possible education provider, and this is reflected within their last six Ofsted reports concluding an “Outstanding” result. This school specialises in a tailored curriculum and pushes an emphasis on preparing their students for adulthood and gaining independence.
This is a full-time role, and you will be required to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 15:30PM. You will be supporting alongside the teacher and other classroom support assistants and working either on a one-to-one basis or within small groups. The ideal candidate will have experience in SEND and experience with children with complex needs.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with students with complex learning difficulties and medical needs.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
