Full-time Teaching Assistant
A popular special educational needs school in Stourbridge is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible.
This school caters for pupils from the age of 3-14 with complex needs, severe learning difficulties, including autism, and pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
A culture of safeguarding is embedded throughout the school. The staff team work in partnership with families to deliver a personalised curriculum providing challenge, with support, to ensure all the pupils are prepared for the next stage of their school or adult life.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate good behaviour management have a resilient attitude and ability to adapt to ever changing situations. The school are looking for strong communicators with a ‘can do’ attitude that can add to the ethos of the school, allowing each pupil to push expectations and shine.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
