Full time teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are working exclusively with an outstanding primary school in Solihull to recruit a full time teacher to start after Easter half term. The position will be a maternity contract working full time within the Year 5 class.

  • Demonstrate the highest regard for the safeguarding of all children and health and safety policies

What the role will involve:

  • Providing a creative and challenging curriculum
  • Preparing and resourcing for lessons as part of a team and sharing your ideas and expertise
  • Communicating with SLT/parents/carers effectively when required
  • Writing full reports and assessments for the whole class
  • Set individualised targets
  • Take responsibility for the progress of a class of KS2 pupils
  • Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation

The school are ideally looking to recruit an experienced teacher for this position, however strong ECT applicants who can meet the above criteria will also be considered.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
