Are you a Psychology Teacher looking for a new challenge?

Zest Education is working closely with a secondary school located in Stafford who need a Psychology Teacher to start in the new Academic year (September 2023). This will be a full time position for a minimum of one term.

The school works hard to encourage students academically and have high attainment levels throughout all year groups. They have a passion for providing creative and engaging lessons for all student abilities and are looking for someone who is willing to join a supportive and hardworking departmental team.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Psychology and excellent subject knowledge across KS4 and KS5
  3. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  4. Strong classroom and behaviour management
  5. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  6. Strong ICT knowledge

Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
