MFL Teacher (Spanish Specialism)

Job Description

Are you an MFL Teacher looking for a new job? Is Spanish your specialism?

Zest Education are working with a secondary school located in Stone who need a Spanish Teacher. This role will be on a full-time basis for at least one school term and is due to start in the new academic year (September 2023.)

Ideally, the school would like a creative and dynamic MFL Teacher who’s specialism is Spanish, to join their departmental team who aim to and are passionate about improving the learning outcomes for all students. The school is accessible through either public or private transport.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Spanish and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (knowledge of French curriculum would be an advantage but is not a necessity)
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
