Teaching Assistant
We’re recruiting for an enthusiastic, bright, and hard-working Teaching Assistant to work on a long-term basis at a special needs school located in Cannock. This is a full-time position and is due to begin ASAP.
This school caters for children with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) from the age of 6-19. Due to the needs of the children, we are looking for someone with special education needs experience and who is confident with managing challenging behaviours.
This is an outstanding SEND school which has a dedicated team of staff and teachers dedicated to providing high-quality education by using personalised programmes.
You will demonstrate high levels of motivation and be passionate to engage, lead and inspire students to raise standards along with delivering efficient outcomes for all students. You will be supporting the teacher with delivery of lessons and supporting the students with there daily activities either on a 1:1.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
