Job Description

Are you enthusiastic about education? Zest Education are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant role in the Walsall area to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. If you have experience with autism or moderate learning difficulties, we are interested in you!

This school caters for children aged 7-16 who hold an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) as well as other additional needs. Aiming to provide both curriculum and key life skill lessons to their small class sizes in a creative manner, this supportive and popular school provide the best possible learning outcomes for all students. This role may vary between working with small groups and 1-1 with students of varying age range.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in teaching within an EHCP framework
  • Positive behaviour management with focus on de-escalation strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher to provide an engaging classroom environment.
