Are you looking for a Computer Science role in September?

Zest Education is recruiting for a part time (0.5) Computer Science teacher for a school we work closely with in Stafford. This will be to teach across KS3-KS5 and is due to start in September. The role is due to finish in December.

The staff within this high school go the extra mile to ensure they create a family atmosphere where students are known well by their teachers and where people genuinely care for one another.

​The successful candidate will be reliable and able to recognise and support all students needs. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make good, professional relationships with both staff and pupils will be key within this role.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of computer science, able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS5
  • A good team ethos and the ability to work well within a team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • A creative mind to get the best out of the pupils

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
