If you are a Geography Teacher based in Stoke looking for something new and exciting, Zest are here for you!

Zest Education is working closely with a secondary school in Stoke on Trent who need a Geography Teacher to start in the next academic year. This is a part time role (0.6) for at least one term.

This high school put the students at the heart of everything they do and firmly believe that all students should feel safe, happy and cared for in and environment that is well disciplined, allowing students to be successful and enjoy their learning.

is essential that you are adaptable and resourceful with experience teaching across the three main disciplines of Humanities: Geography, History and RE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for Geography and excellent subject knowledge across KS4 and KS5
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Be confident in using ICT
