French Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is working closely with a secondary school in Swadlincote who need a French speaking teacher to start in the new academic year. This is a full-time role and is ongoing for the right candidate.

Staff in the school experience carefully curated continual professional development to improve their practice so that children are continually inspired and challenged. The school look to deliver a first-class education to all pupils along with providing all learners with essential life skills.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A good team ethos and the ability to work well in a team
  • The ability to be creative and make lessons enjoyable and accessible for all students.
  • A strong passion for the subject of French and be able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

Rates of pay will vary dependent on experience.

Newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
