History Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education has a close working relationship with a secondary school in Telford who need a full time History Teacher. The role is due to start in the new academic year for one term, due to finish in December.

Teachers within this popular high school set high expectations for all students and challenge is a key feature of all lessons. The departmental team work together to ensure all students get the most out of their education while still enjoying their learning.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A passion for the subject of History and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
