Geography Teacher

Zest Education is working closely with a school in Newcastle-under-Lyme who need a Geography Teacher to start in the new academic year. This will be a full time role due to finish in December.

This high schools broad curriculum takes into consideration the differing needs and abilities of all children, meaning they can all make good progression at their own pace, preparing them for life beyond secondary school.

Strong subject knowledge of Geography is essential and the chosen candidate will work closely with the departmental team to plan and mark lessons in order to improve students learning and development.

The successful applicant will have:

1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
2. A strong passion for the subject of Geography and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 – KS5
3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
5. Strong classroom and behaviour management
