We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in a primary special educational needs school located in Smethwick. This position is due to start April 2022 and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year.
This school caters for children from the age of six to fifteen with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). The learners at this school have complex needs so, the ideal candidate will have previously worked with special educational needs and is confident in their behaviour management.
The school is a busy primary which is continually improving and looking to provide all children with strong life skills. You will be required to work with the children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will be working under direction of the Class Teacher supporting the children with there day to day activities and all areas of the curriculum.
