Zest Education are excited to be recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a delightful school in Dorridge starting in September 2023. This school caters to children 4-11 with Visual impairment as well as additional needs such as Autism. Due to the needs of the children, as well as the need for Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for children, the ideal candidate would have previous experience in SEN or care settings.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with Visual Impairment may be an advantage. Your work will be divided between working with students in small groups in the department and in the wider school supporting students in their lessons in order that they are able to access the learning.
The rate of pay for this role would be between £72 -£85 per day depending on experience and references.
