Computer Science Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is looking to recruit a full time Computer Science teacher for a secondary school we work closely with in Swadlincote.

Role – Computer Science Teacher

Contract  – Temporary- the role is due to start in September 2023 and is due to finish in December 2023

Schedule – Monday – Friday

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of computer science, able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS5
  • A good team ethos and the ability to work well within a team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • A creative mind to get the best out of the pupils

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
