📚 Social Sciences Teacher – Wolverhampton

September 2026 start • Long‑term supply • Secondary school

Zest Education are working with a supportive secondary school in Wolverhampton who are seeking a Social Sciences Teacher to join them on a long‑term supply basis from September 2026.

This role is ideal for a teacher looking for consistent, full‑time work without committing to a permanent contract. The successful candidate will teach Social Sciences (Sociology, Psychology and/or Criminology) across KS4 and KS5.

⭐ The Role

  • Teaching Social Sciences at KS4 and KS5
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons
  • Supporting student progress and exam preparation
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with the department and wider school team
  • Following school policies, routines, and expectations

🧑‍🏫 The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Sociology, Psychology and/or Criminology
  • Confident teaching GCSE and/or A‑Level
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about long‑term supply work
