Zest are recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Tamworth. Zest are urgently seeking a 1:1 TA to support a child in Y4 with an EHCP Monday – Friday.
This primary school put children at the heart of its decision making and understand how important it is for children to feel happy and secure for them to thrive. They provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe trying new things, and where it is okay to make mistakes that they can then learn from.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant at this Primary School, you will be predominantly supporting a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Heath needs whilst also being present and supporting the rest of the class.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
