Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is pleased to announce a rewarding opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work closely with a child in Year 2 at a lovely school in Kingshurst. This part-time position is available until the end of the academic year.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional needs of the designated child in Year 2. Your responsibilities will include assisting the student with academic tasks, implementing individualized learning plans, and providing additional support as required. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the classroom teacher and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements for Successful Candidate:
– Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies
– Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the individual needs of the student
– Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
