Job Title: Teaching Assistant for Child with Autism
Location: Camden, London
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our small primary school in Camden to support a child with mild autism. This rewarding role is set to commence in September 2025 and will continue for the academic year.
Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one support to a child with mild autism in the classroom setting
– Assist the child in completing tasks and activities as directed by the teacher
– Implement strategies to support the child’s learning and development
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the child
Requirements:
– Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism
– Understanding of strategies and techniques to support children with autism
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children
Hours:
8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
