Are you a dedicated and passionate individual looking for an exciting opportunity as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant? Zest Education is currently seeking a dynamic and resilient candidate to join a challenging primary school in Castle Bromwich. The role is to start in October 2024 and will continue on a full time, long term basis.
As a 1-1 Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to make a real difference for the pupils who require additional 1-1 support. Your role will involve working closely with these students across KS2, providing them with the necessary guidance and assistance they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
Your responsibilities will include implementing personalized learning plans, delivering tailored interventions, and supporting the students in their day-to-day activities. This will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be collaborating with the classroom teacher, parents, and other professionals involved in the students’ education.
The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of the KS2 curriculum and be able to adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Experience working with children who require additional support is desirable, as is the ability to build a positive and trusting relationship with young learners.
The pay for this role will start at £80 a day for the right candidate.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
