The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils’ progress, and contributing to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive, supportive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
  • At least 3 months of classroom teaching experience (placements included)
  • Strong behaviour‑management skills and a commitment to safeguarding
  • A reflective, proactive and child‑centred approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
