Catering for children from the age of 4 to 11 within an inclusive community, the learning is underpinned by strong values that encourage the children to become highly motivated, inquisitive, resilient individuals who thrive in our ever-changing society. The school encourage professional development to ensure the staff are always up-to-date with any changes or updates and can always provide the best possible education and support.
The successful teacher will have strong knowledge of the UKS2 curriculum and SATs preparation experience, using this creatively to plan and prepare engaging lessons that are accessible to all abilities; PPA time will be allocated within your weekly timetable. You should have strong classroom and behaviour management skills and be able to lead exciting, motivating and inspirational lessons to pupils. The ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and staff is important and you will be required to do this quickly but professionally.
