Computer Science Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are looking to recruit a skilful and professional individual to join a high-achieving Secondary School as a Computer Science teacher. This is a full-time role due to commence in September 2024, and will run for a minimum of two terms.

This Secondary School, located in the Solihull area, is looking for an individual who will help to accomplish the school’s vision of achieving both academic and personal excellence for every student. This school is one of the fastest growing schools locally, with recent investments being made into creating new state of the art facilities. The successful candidate will, therefore, have the opportunity to work in a modern and dynamic environment and will benefit from the use of brand new, high-tech Computer Science equipment.

The school itself is also in a fantastic location, with easy access via public transport and also onsite parking.

Successful candidates will have:
  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong enthusiasm for the subject of Computer Science and the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS3 to KS5 curriculum
  • A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both colleagues and pupils
  • Experience in classroom and behaviour management

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
