Zest Education work alongside schools across Birmingham , and with school in the Erdington area looking for a full time computer science teacher, this will be to teach across KS3-KS5, starting immediately for the rest of the academic year.
The school is a large secondary which caters for a broad range of pupils and has a growing reputation within the surrounding areas. It has great facilities and like them to be used to make the lessons enjoyable and informative. The school is also situated in a popular area so is very accessible for both private and public transport.
The successful applicant will be supportive, versatile, and reliable. Passion for the subject with a strong subject knowledge will be key to excelling in this role.
The successful candidate must have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A hardworking team player ethic
- A strong passion for the subject of computer science, able to teach the curriculum across KS3-KS5
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- A creative mind to get the best out of the pupils
Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
