Early Career Teacher ECT

Job Description

A ‘Good’ school in Hall Green require an Early Career Teacher to start with them in the new academic year to cover either a Y1, Y3 or Y4 class. The school are encouraging applications ASAP so that the role can be confirmed to parents before the end of the academic year. You will only be able to apply for this role through Zest Education.

The role will be supporting an ECT through the all important induction period. You will have completed a placement in one of Y1, Y3 or Y4 and be able to commit to the school for a minimum of two terms, until Easter 2023. You will be supported in class by two full time Teaching Assistants and be assigned an experienced student mentor, who will assign you a whole day of non-teaching time – half a day of Early Career Teacher time and half a day of PPA time.
