Zest Education are looking for an innovative English teacher to join a secondary school in the Chelmsley Wood area. You will join a well-led and motivated team committed to continuous improvement. This is a full-time temporary role starting immediately with the potential to go permeant for the right teacher.

Teachers within the department provide expert delivery through high quality explanations and ensure that students are given an opportunity to apply their knowledge. The English department aim to enable students to develop a rich knowledge and love of literature and language and have provided a curriculum which aims to do this. The school have a team of enthusiastic teachers who are committed to ensuring that all students make good progress.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for English and to be able to teach KS3-KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

This role requires a teacher with at least 2 years experience in the given subject.

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience, ranging from £143-£199 a day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
