Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated full-time teaching assistant to join a fantastic team at a well-established primary school in Kings Norton. The position will be working within the reception class and as a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the pupils learning journey and contributing to the inclusive and supportive environment they strive to maintain.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and engaging individual who understands the significance of early childhood education. Experience in play-based learning is highly valued, along with a commitment to supporting and maintaining essential life skills in young learners. This school prides itself on its outstanding features and strong community connections, providing a rewarding work environment for passionate educators.
Applicants should hold at least an NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare or a relevant field. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
