Teaching Assistant – Full Time (Resource Base) | Birmingham

We are proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected primary school in the Kings Heath area who are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their specialist Resource Base from September 2025.

The successful candidate will be working full time, supporting a small group of up to 12 pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. This is a rewarding and varied role, perfect for someone with a calm, caring nature and a strong understanding of inclusive practice.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEND (within a school or similar setting)

  • A patient, adaptable and nurturing approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced staff

  • Level 2 or 3 TA qualification in a relevant childcare subject
