Zest Education work closely with a special educational needs school in Cannock who are looking for an excellent TA to join their team of amazing staff on a full-time basis starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career and work in a successful and well established school.

This school caters for students aged 5-16 years with autism and moderate learning difficulties. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting and assisting pupils with SEND. The school need staff who are confident, patient and nurturing and who want to help us to support our pupils to thrive and develop into successful young people.

The role:

• You will be supporting different classes on a general basis, however there may be times you are required to work on a 1:1 basis with specific pupils or smaller groups
• You will be required to work under the guidance of the class teacher, and to help students progress in their learning and stay engaged.
• You must have experience supporting children or adults with SEND
• Passionate to build trusting relationships with the children to help them manage the learning challenges they may face

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
