Zest Education is recruiting for a Full‑Time Year 3 Teacher to join a warm, community‑focused primary school located in a well‑established area of Burton. This role is due to start after Easter and involves taking full class responsibility Monday to Friday.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and creative teacher to lead a Year 3 class full time. You will be responsible for planning, teaching, assessment and creating a positive learning environment that supports both academic progress and personal growth.

Key Details

  • Position: Full‑Time Year 3 Teacher
  • Location: Primary school in Burton
  • Start Date: After Easter
  • Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Contract: Long‑term
  • Requirements:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
    • Ability to deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons
    • Commitment to the full‑time role and wider school community

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching a Year 3 class full time
  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons
  • Marking, assessing and tracking pupil progress
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and well‑structured classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
