Role Overview:

Zest Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a class full-time starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic educator with a deep commitment to inspiring young learners and helping them achieve their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated NQT to make a significant impact on our students’ educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and respect.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
• Support the social and emotional development of students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching in primary education, preferably in Year 5.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience in integrating technology into the classroom.
• Specialization or interest in a particular subject area.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities or school clubs.
