Zest Education is currently seeking a Geography Teacher for a secondary school in Stoke on Trent. This is a part-time role (0.6) starting in April 2024 for one term.
The ideal candidate for this position would possess creativity and the ability to deliver engaging lessons to students. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and qualities:
– A PGCE or an equivalent UK teaching qualification that grants QTS or QTLS.
– A strong passion for Geography with excellent subject knowledge across KS3 – KS5.
– A team-oriented mentality and a desire to be part of a collaborative environment.
– The ability to effectively plan, assess, and deliver high-quality lessons (planning and assessment only for short/long term placements).
– Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behavior effectively.
