Looking for a fresh career opportunity in South Staffordshire as a Geography teacher? Zest Education is actively seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join the secondary school team in the Burton region.
In this role, you will have the exciting task of delivering interactive lessons to students, guiding them through the marvels of geography. With the support of a strong senior leadership team, you will integrate into a dedicated department committed to delivering top-tier education.
We welcome applications from both seasoned educators and Early Careers Teachers (ECT) eager to kickstart their teaching journey. This position presents a wonderful opening to enhance the school’s educational standards while nurturing a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
The ideal candidate must hold a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching certification, along with QTS or QTLS accreditation. A profound love for Geography and comprehensive knowledge spanning KS3 to KS5 are essential to inspire and educate students effectively. Furthermore, being a collaborative team member is crucial for success in this role.
Your duties will involve crafting lesson plans, assessing student work, and conducting engaging classes. Whether it’s a temporary or long-term placement, you will be expected to connect with students through well-designed lessons and effectively manage their conduct.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
