We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join a Secondary School located in Kings Norton from April 2024. As an outstanding school, the school provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for their students.

 

Responsibilities:
– Delivering high-quality Geography lessons to secondary school students.
– Planning and preparing lessons according to the national curriculum.
– Assessing and evaluating student progress.
– Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
– Supporting students in their academic and personal development.
– Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum.
– Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Specialization in Geography or related field.
– Experience teaching Geography to secondary school students.
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
– Effective communication skills and ability to engage students.
– Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
– Organizational and time management skills.

 

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience, ranging from £153 – £211 a day.
