Zest Education are recruiting for a Geography teacher for a South Birmingham secondary school near the Kings Heath area.
The school is a vibrant and successful school with a track record of high standards and successful outcomes for pupils of all backgrounds and ability. The is a part time role (0.6 days) and is to start in January 2024 until the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- A strong passion for the subject of Geography and able to teach the curriculum across KS3 and KS4, KS5 is desirable
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience, ranging from £153-£211 a day.
