About the Role

Zest Education is working closely with a welcoming and supportive partner secondary school in Birmingham to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Hair & Beauty Teacher for a full-time long term role starting ASAP.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Hair & Beauty specialist who can inspire students, deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, and contribute positively to the wider school community. The school is looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can motivate learners and help them develop valuable vocational skills.

What You Will Do

As a Hair & Beauty Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging Hair & Beauty lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
• Plan and deliver both practical and theory-based sessions
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
• Provide constructive feedback to support student development
• Maintain high standards of classroom and workshop management
• Encourage students to develop industry-relevant skills and knowledge

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification awarding QTS or QTLS, or relevant vocational teaching qualifications
• Experience teaching Hair & Beauty within a secondary school, college, or vocational setting
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A passion for vocational education and student development
• The ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
• Knowledge of current Hair & Beauty industry practices and qualifications
