About the Role

We are seeking passionate, adaptable, and confident SEN Teacher to work across a range of SEN schools in the Cannock area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teacher who enjoy variety, thrive in specialist settings, and want to make a real difference to children with additional needs.

You will work on a flexible supply basis, supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD, communication needs, and behavioural challenges. Each day brings new experiences, supportive staff teams, and the chance to positively impact pupils who benefit from consistent, nurturing teaching.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to pupils with diverse SEN needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and abilities
  • Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and leadership teams
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and communication
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
  • Create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience within SEN settings or with SEND learners (preferred)
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work across different specialist schools
  • Patience, creativity, and resilience
  • A passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
