Zest Education is partnering with a forward‑thinking secondary academy in Hounslow to recruit an inspiring Head of Maths to lead a thriving department from Easter/April.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Mathematician who is ready to shape a high‑impact curriculum across Key Stages 3–5, drive standards, and cultivate a love of Mathematics that lasts well beyond the classroom.

As Head of Maths, you will:

• Lead the strategic direction of Mathematics across the school
• Shape and deliver an ambitious, knowledge‑rich curriculum
• Inspire curiosity, confidence and resilience in learners
• Support and develop a committed team of teachers

What We’re Looking For

A highly motivated practitioner who:

• Holds QTS and has recent UK experience delivering strong Maths teaching across a range of abilities
• Has secure subject expertise and a proven ability to raise attainment
• Uses assessment and intervention intelligently to support progress
• Demonstrates inclusive practice and strong behaviour routines
• Leads with positivity, clarity and high expectations

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
