HLTA – Lichfield
A lovely special educational needs school in Lichfield require a HLTA to join their team from October 2025 on a full-time basis for the full academic year.
The school caters for children from the age of 5-11 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). The successful candidate must have previous experience supporting individuals with special educational needs. The school is improving within academic and attainment levels and is continually looking to ensure their students develop into respectable and inspiring individuals.
The ideal candidate will be required to be a hardworking, enthusiastic, and confident individual. The ideal candidate must also be a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of strong behaviour management skills. The role will require you to with the children 1:1 and in small groups therefore you must be confident, enthusiastic and be able to identify and engage with different learning needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
