Zest education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Intervention Teacher to join the team at a primary school in Alum Rock. As an Intervention Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing additional support and personalized learning to students who require extra assistance in their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies to support students’ academic progress.
– Work closely with classroom teachers to identify areas of improvement and create tailored intervention plans.
– Monitor and track students’ progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
– Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to create a supportive network for student success.
– Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance intervention strategies and teaching practices.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
– Teaching certification/license.
– Proven experience in providing intervention support to students.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
