Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 teaching assistant to join a lovely school in Wolverhampton. The role is due to start after October half term until the Christmas break.

As a KS2 teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a lovely school situated in a bustling area of Wolverhampton. The school boasts excellent connectivity, with numerous public transport options available, ensuring a convenient commute for both staff and students. On top of that, the school provides onsite parking facilities, further adding to the ease of accessibility.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to Key Stage 2 students. Your duties will include providing one-on-one support, assisting with classroom management, and facilitating group activities. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Daily rate of £72-85.

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, a patient and empathetic nature, and a genuine passion for education. Experience working with KS2 students and a relevant teaching assistant qualification would be advantageous but not essential.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
