✨ The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join the school on a full-time basis for the 2025-2026 academic year. As part of a supportive team, you will work across Year 3 and Year 4, providing whole-class support and small group interventions to help pupils achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering the curriculum to Year 3 and Year 4 pupils

  • Working with small groups of children to reinforce learning and offer additional support

  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment

  • Supporting individual pupils with additional needs or those requiring extra help

  • Assisting with the preparation of resources and classroom displays

  • Collaborating with the class teachers to monitor and track pupil progress

This role requires a responsible, adaptable, and reliable team member who will contribute positively to the learning environment and school community.


✅ We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Proven experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within KS2 (Year 3 & Year 4)

  • A strong team player, able to collaborate effectively with both teachers and other support staff

  • Responsible, reliable, and able to maintain high standards of professionalism

  • Good understanding of how to support pupils with different learning needs, including those who may require extra support

  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development

  • Candidates must be able to commit to the full academic year from September 2025
